The synergy Family Resource Center will house numerous programs and services to be made available to the residents of the Jefferson - Broadway area in downtown Buffalo, New York. Such programs include: Intergenerational Day Care Facility, Community Computer Lab, after school tutorial and activity program, Youth Gang Violence prevention project, Adolescent Abstinence program, Job Readiness Program, Employment services, and Educational Services.

Synergy Family Resource Center (SFRC) is a major component of the 5 year vision plan-(Vision 20/10) Temple Community Development Corporation (TCDC). The vision plan focuses on engagement of community development in the Broadway-Jefferson corridor of Buffalo, New York. Vision 20/10 includes the commercial rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of large land mass as a method of reviving a community, supporting the city, and transforming the neighborhood for both children and adults.

The SFRC will serve as a central network of programs and services to address the current gaps in resources available to the  Jefferson-Broadway community. Family preservation is key to the programs listed above. Linking, referring and servicing families in one location will assit in the stabilization of a community as the first step in the neighborhood revitalization plan of TCDC.
