Back to School Book Bag Program

Going back to school has never been easy. Temple Community

Development Corporation & the Pentecostal Temple Church

of God in Christ will help ease the financial burden of

students and parents. Participants for this give away come

from all areas of the city & suburbs with a concentration within

the 14204 zip code.

This program evolved out of a need in the community. Many

children return to school without proper supplies

and it may take a large family some time to

purchase the materials needed to start the new

school year.

Community Blood Drive

Every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion, yet fewer than 5%

of the people who are able to give blood actually do. That is why we have

partnered with the American Red Cross to recruit new blood donors

Every blood donation you make can help as many as three different paths

• People rushed to the hospital after a trauma

• Children fighting Leukemia

• Police & Firefighters, who've been injured

• People needing heart surgery

People like the ones in your neighborhood or in your own family.

These are the people your blood donation will help.

Giving blood is quick, easy and safe!

• You must be at least 17 years old

• You must weigh over 110 pounds

• You must bring photo I.D.
